Welcome to the Emerald Garden, the new home of Emerald Diaries! I am going to take this opportunity to shift my focus from singing the praises of Japanese actor, Hiroyuki Sanada, to writing about anything and everything that draws my attention as a person who has deep-rooted connections to both Japan and the United States. Of course, I will continue to draw attention and comment on my most favorite performer in the world, but I also want to express my feelings in all sorts of genres — politics, business, financial markets, media, fashion, beauty, food, arts and culture — whatever strikes my fancy for the day.
